Rajamani, the music director, who is highly popular for his background scores, passed away yesterday (Feb 14th, Sunday). <br />The 60-year-old was admitted at a private hospital in Chennai, <br />due to health issues. He was the son of veteran music director BA Chidamabaranath. Rajamani is survived by wife Beena, the former basketball player, sons Aditya Rajamani, a lawyer and Achu Rajamani, a musician. The musician, who made his composing debut in 1985 with the movie Nulli Novikkathe, was active in the field since last 3 decades. He has only composed about 150 songs in his entire career.
